HOME DESIGN PRIORITIES

It is important to be 100% confident in knowing what your architectural style will be for the project.  This may be your personal favorite style or you may be required to keep with the existing style or follow architectural guidelines provided by the homeowners association.  In any case we must confirm the architectural style for the project and hold to it.

There are many sites online to visit that can help define your desired architectural style.  We have listed a few websites below.  We will review the design styles together to make certain we begin correctly.

As you progress through the design process it is important to think in terms of "must haves" and "would like to haves".  Everyone has budget limitations and we want to work with your "must-have" priorities first and add the "would like to haves" as the budget allows afterwards.

The first questions are; how many bedrooms are required?  How many bathrooms?  Do you need a home office?  Other special rooms?  What general size home were you wanting?   These items will integrate with the style selection process.

Next we delve into all the details.  It is enormously helpful to have pictures of major concepts you are interested in incorporating into your project.  The internet is a useful tool for images and we have a great library as well.  We can look through examples together and formulate your design details.  We are flexible and can follow your lead or take the lead as much as you desire.
